PIR (Polyisocyanurate) Insulation
Manufactured by Celotex, Kingspan and Recticel.
PIR, or Polyisocyanurate, insulation boards are rigid foam boards faced with aluminium foil, glass tissue, plasterboard and/or plywood and can be used in numerous applicaitons within the building envelope.
Thermal values range from 0.022 W/mK to 0.026 W/mK depending on the product and its application.

Celotex TB4000 'Thermal Bridging', a rigid PIR foam insulation board with low emissivity foil on both faces, is suitable for the following applications: thermal bridging in pitched and flat roofs, solid masonry and framed wall systems, and floors.
Available in thicknesses from 20mm - 40mm.
Has a Thermal Conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, a compressive strength of 120kPa and a Vapour Resistance that typically exceeds 150 MNs/gm.

Celotex GA4000 'General Application', a rigid PIR foam insulation board with low emissivity foil on both faces, is suitable for the following applications: pitched and flat roofs, solid masonry and framed wall systems, and floors.
Available in thicknesses from 50mm - 100mm.
Has a Thermal Conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, a compressive strength of 140kPa and a Vapour Resistance that typically exceeds 150 MNs/gm.

Celotex XR4000 'Extra Resistance', a rigid PIR foam insulation board with low emissivity foil on both faces, is suitable for the following applications: pitched roofs, flat roofs, solid masonry walls, timber and steel framed systems, and floors.
Available in thicknesses from 110mm - 200mm.
Has a Thermal Conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, a compressive strength of 140kPa and a Vapour Resistance that typically exceeds 150 MNs/gm.

Celotex CW4000 'Cavity Wall', a rigid PIR foam insulation board with low emissivity foil on both faces, is suitable for the following applications: partial fill cavity between the outer leaf and inner block with a 50mm residual cavity.
Available in thicknesses from 40mm - 100mm.

Celotex PL4000 'Plasterboard Laminate', a rigid PIR foam insulation board with a 12.5mm tapered edge plasterboard on the front face and a composite aluminium foil/kraft paper on the back face, is suitable for the following applications: dot and dab or mechanically fixed dry lining direct to masonry and timber or steel frame walls and the underside of rafters or joists.
Available in thicknesses from 37.5mm - 77.5mm.
Has a Thermal Conductivity of 0.022 W/mK (0.19 W/mK for the plasterboard) and a compressive strength of 120kPa.

Celotex Thermaclass Cavity Wall 21, a rigid PIR foam insulation board with low emissivity foil on both faces, is suitable for the following applications: cavity wall applications with up to a 10mm residual cavity or full fill cavity applications with no residual cavity.

Recticel Eurothane GP, a rigid PIR foam insulation board with a gas tight multilayer composite aluminium foil on both faces, is suitable for the following applications: pitched and flat roofs, solid masonry and framed wall systems, and floors.

Recticel Eurowall Cavity Plus, a rigid tongue & groove PIR foam insulation board with a low emissivity multilayer aluminium foil (with grid markings) on the outer facing while the inner face is a grey alkali resistant composite foil, is suitable for use in full fill cavity walls with a nominal residual cavity of 10mm.
Available in thicknesses from 90 - 140mm.

Warmline PIR Laminate, a rigid PIR foam insulation board with a tapered edge plasterboard on the front face and craft paper or composite aluminium foil on the hidden face*, is suitable for the following applications: dot and dab or mechanically fixed dry lining direct to masonry and timber or steel frame walls and the underside of rafters or joists.
* 29.5mm - 62.5mm have craft paper while 72.5mm - 92.5mm have aluminium foil on the hidden face
