Rockwool (RW) Building Slabs
Acoustic and thermal building slabs - RWA45, RW3, RW4, RW5 and RW6.
Excellent thermal, acoustic and fire insulation.
Suitable for a wide range of general building applications.
Non-combustible – Euroclass A1.
Availabile in a range of densities from 45 kg/m³ to 140 kg/m³.
Reduce noise, either by impeding the transmission of sound through an element of the structure or by absorption of sound at the surface.
Made from diabase rock, which is a renewable and plentiful natural resource.
Does not contain gases that have ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP).
Thicknesses and Availability:
RWA45 (45 kg/m³ density) : 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 75mm, and 100mm (some thicknesses may only be available in pallet quantities as they will need to be sourced from the manufacturer before being delivered to site)
RW3 (60 kg/m³ density): 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 75mm, 90mm, and 100mm (some thicknesses may only be available in pallet quantities as they will need to be sourced from the manufacturer before being delivered to site)
RW4 (80 kg/m³ density): Special request, 100mm in pallets only. Made to order only: 50mm and 75mm can be manufactured, but require a minimum order of 16 x pallets for the 50mm and 22 x pallets for the 75mm
RW5 (100 kg/m³ density): 25mm, 30mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm (some thicknesses may only be available in pallet quantities as they will need to be sourced from the manufacturer before being delivered to site)

Facings
Unfaced as standard, however, we may be able to supply tissue or foil faced slabs on request, depending on requirements
